The Diploma in Environmental Science is a seven-semester program aimed at equipping students with the skills and knowledge to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development. This program prepares learners to analyze, manage, and mitigate environmental issues while balancing ecological, social, and economic needs.
The curriculum covers key areas such as environmental conservation, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, waste management, climate change mitigation, water and soil quality analysis, and sustainable agriculture. Students gain hands-on experience through practical activities, including ecological surveys, environmental audits, and the use of modern tools and techniques for environmental monitoring.
A three-month industrial attachment provides real-world exposure, enabling students to work in environmental organizations, conservation projects, or governmental agencies. The program emphasizes professional growth through participation in the Environmental Science Club, which promotes community outreach, workshops, and environmental advocacy initiatives.
