Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture

Course Description

The Diploma in Environmental Science is a five-semester program aimed at equipping students with the skills and knowledge to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable development. This program prepares learners to analyze, manage, and mitigate environmental issues while balancing ecological, social, and economic needs.

The curriculum covers key areas such as environmental conservation, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, waste management, climate change mitigation, water and soil quality analysis, and sustainable agriculture. Students gain hands-on experience through practical activities, including ecological surveys, environmental audits, and the use of modern tools and techniques for environmental monitoring.

A three-month industrial attachment allows students to gain hands-on experience on farms, agricultural firms, or government agricultural projects. This exposure enables them to apply classroom knowledge to real-world agricultural challenges. The program also supports professional development through its Agriculture Innovation Club, where students participate in mentorship, community projects, and workshops.
