Kenya Pharmaceutical Association (KPA) mentoring 3rd year Pharmacy trainees

The Kenya Pharmaceutical Association (KPA) is an umbrella professional body that brings together all pharmaceutical Technologists duly enrolled in Kenya. KPA currently has over thirteen thousand (13,000) members across eleven branches in all the forty-seven counties in the country. Today Wednesday 11th June 2025, the KPA NAIROBI BRANCH conducted a student mentorship program at the Kabete National Polytechnic for all the third year (final year) Pharmacy students.
KPA is keen on is ensuring that we mentor students and professionals who are soon joining the pharmacy profession to enable them to have the capacity to offer pharmaceutical excellence. We are indeed committed to nurturing the next generation of pharmacy professionals through structured mentorship initiatives.
In order to effectively achieve this; KPA has mapped all the Diploma (level 6) in Pharmaceutical technology training institutions including the Kabete National Polytechnic and created a yearly schedule on how we are conducting the mentorship programs.
We have also come up with areas of interest that are reviewed periodically. Today’s mentorship session explored on:
• Regulations and Guidelines in Pharmacy practice.
• Career Opportunities in Pharmacy practice.
• KPA value propositions.
