The mode of for both Diploma and Craft Certificate programmes includes structured coursework,
Computer laboratory sessions, educational trips and industrial attachment. The department’s objective is to
produce Diploma and Certificate graduates who meet the market demand and also equip trainees with relevant knowledge;
skills, attitudes and values to enable them serve as professional ICT graduates.
ICT being a pillar of the vision 2030 the department offers training that is geared towards practical
training in areas such as software development, computer hardware and associated peripherals troubleshooting,
repair uand maintenance,computer networks deployment and maintenance, database systems administration & management,
data capture, processing, storage and security among others.
The ICT department also offers basic ICT training to other students in the institute irrespective of their area
of specialization. The department also extends its services to the entire college by facilitating all the ICT
related services such as internet connectivity, ICT support and Computers & related accessories maintenance.
